Dr. Sanders earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. He completed his internal medicine residency at Norton Community Hospital and his pulmonary fellowship at the University of South Carolina.

As an osteopathic physician, he looks past single symptoms and treats the whole person. His training in lifestyle medicine shapes how he works with patients on lasting changes in nutrition, activity, sleep, and stress, alongside the medications and treatments they need. In addiction medicine, he believes recovery is possible for everyone and treats every patient with dignity and without judgment.

Dr. Sanders is the co-founder of Minuteman Medicine in Hi Hat, Kentucky, where he is proud to serve the communities of Eastern Kentucky. Outside the clinic, he enjoys travel, photography, and time with his family.
